Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will go sale in U.S on Feb. 7

Sony has started coming back in the smartphone market after some time with announcing partial retreat round about a year ago. The company declared on Thursday that Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact will go on sale in U.S on 7th February. Both smartphones with Unlock version will be available at Best Buy, Amazon and on the other retailers with price tag of $600 and $500. These phones were announced on the IFA conference in last September. As people were thinking about the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 4k display but it’s not this time, they have to wait for it.

It is also important for Sony to launch new phones because the company hold only 4% market share globally. Apple and Samsung are still leading the American market. In 2015 Sony was still in trouble with minimizing of market share of less than 3% in world and 1% in U.S.

Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact will be powered with Android 5.1(Lollipop), A Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 2GB and 3GB RAM respectively. Xperia Z5 is with 5.2-inch 1080p screen for $599 and the Xperia Z5 Compact with 720p 4.6-inch display for $499. The two phones are dust and water proof. Both of the smartphones have same 23-megapixel rear and 5 megapixels on front. Each has 32 GB storage and microSD card slot which supports up to 200 GB.

If we see the smartphone options from the other companies like Google. The Nexus 5X gives 32 GB of storage with price of $399. It has also little bit same Snapdragon 808 chip, with best camera and a 5.2-inch 1080p display. The phone has built in memory and there is no memory card slot. It has no extra memory card slot but is it suitable to spend some more money for these?
