Telenor Launches free internet with Internet.org by Facebook

What is internet.org?

Internet.org is a partnership between social networking services company Facebook and six companies (Samsung, Ericsson, MediaTek, Opera Software, Nokia and Qualcomm) that plans to bring affordable access to selected Internet services to less developed countries by increasing efficiency, and facilitating the development of new business models around the provision of Internet access.

Internet.org was founded by CEO Facebook Mark Zuckerberg in 2013.

Internet.org in Pakistan

Internet.org is now launched in Pakistan with the coutesy of Telenor Pakistan on May 28, 2015.

Users will be able to log on to Accuweather, BBC, BabyCenter &MAMA, Malaria No More, UNICEF Facts for Life, Bing.com, ESPN Cricinfo, Mustakbil.com, ilmkidunya, Telenor News, Urdupoint Cooking, OLX, Facebook, Messenger and Wikipedia free of cost.
